Another classic Kodak Commercial. This one promotes the Kodak "Brownie Film Projector". Taken from uncopyrighted TV episode that can also be found on IA. Aired 8 March 1961. I wasn't even aware the "Brownie" trademark was ever used for a home movie range of products.

[movies]1954 ''I Married Joan'' - ''The Clothes Budget' - (NBC-TV, Light Comedy)
A 1954 episode of the NBC Television Network sitcom "I Married Joan" entitled "The Clothes Budget". Possibly the most jumpy, confusing, and at times sloppy episode of this series, though it's still funny. The series is very similar to "I Love Lucy" (1951-1957), which itself is similar to "Mary Kay and Johnny" (1947-1950). A moderate success, it lasted 3 seasons but never made the Top 20. Annoyingly, this is an edited print.

An episode of the 1952-1955 NBC-TV Comedy series "I Married Joan" called "The Jail Bird". This sitcom was a minor hit in the ratings, but never made the Top 20. In many ways, it was a "copycat" of "I Love Lucy", which itself featured the same premise as a previous show ("Mary Kay and Johnny"). Sadly this is an edited print.

[movies]Fifties Popular Culture - ''Burns and Allen'' (Episode Aired 13th March 1952)
Another episode of the old CBS sitcom "The George Burns and Gracie Show", and in this episode, the ever-scatterbrained Gracie loses her engagement ring. Perhaps not as good as "Citizen Kane", but still a million times better than MTV's new fall line-up. Original aired live on 13th March, 1952, and presented here with the original commercials for Carnation Evaporated Milk. Please forgive mediocre picture quality caused by mediocre DVD.

[movies]Coke Time with Eddie Fisher - 5th of November 1954
An episode of NBC-TV's "Coke Time with Eddie Fisher". Eddie didn't have much time to learn the first song, so he forgets the words on live TV. The rest of the episode is much better of course.
